I have plenty of strong opinions about the whole Jon & Kate Plus 8 thing but the one thing I really want to know is when did Greta Garbo here have time to get an ankle tattoo?
Listen, I only had 2 kids and they were 3 years apart and I still had to cut my own hair because I just couldn't manage to get away to a hairdresser. How often do you think she's got to go to maintain that constant length? And how long does it take her orange spray tan to dry? Does she do that at the time time as her mani-pedi or is that more sitting still time away from the kids?
I would only like to point out that most mothers of 8 kids don't always have time to take a bath everyday. let alone get tattoos. I'd say, based on extrapolation of my own experience, that 5 is the cutoff.
- 4 kids or less = daily bath.
- 5 kids = iffy personal hygiene situation; could go either way.
- 6 kids or more = 4-5 baths a week.
The above schedule is based on the assumption that the mother is solely responsible for all child-care activities. If the oldest girl is more than 12 years old and can hold down the fort for a while, then the mother MIGHT be able to maintain daily personal hygiene but she will pay for it dearly because she will be dealing with a hormone-filled, pre-menstruating bundle of resentment so it might not be worth the cost. In which case, we are back to 4-5 baths a week until the youngest kid is 8.
