Who needs steps anyway? As if a bit of plastic lattice could contain him! During Phase 2 of our early morning ritual of "yard/poop - deck/coffee - yard/poop" Stedman levitated himself up to the deck banister in search of delicious bird droppings to lick.
There was a moment when he lifted one hind paw in a test to see if he could get his entire little puppy ass all the way up onto the rail. That was a negatory, so he started swiveling those ears around in hopes of catching an updraft and taking off like Sister Bertrille. [ (lift + thrust) > (load + drag) = flight ]
This dog definitely needs to find employment as soon as possible. Too much free time.
He is *so* smart. I heart him.

Should the headline read , " PUNY HUMANS!I LAUGH AT YOUR FLIMSY PLASTIC PUPPY BARRIER ACROSS THE STEPS!"
I'd like to think that when Jackie O was a book editor she would have left you that suggestion.

He is so cute! I saw a Corgi at a horse show on Sunday that was so fat, he could hardly walk, poor thing. He was so happy, though, wagging his stub tail.

Our recent canine guest, having a slightly different leg/body length ratio solved the doorway fence problem after about 2 tries.

looks like he's wearing a little white boot.
Probably to protect himself from his own poop.
Smart. Really, really smart puppy!
