Was he just showing respect when he raped that 14-year-old?

These people should stay under their rocks...

From Yarrow's Wikipedia page:

In 1970, Yarrow was convicted of, and served three months in prison for, taking "improper liberties" with a 14-year-old fan. He has since apologized for the incident: "In that time, it was common practice, unfortunately –– the whole groupie thing."

"....it was common practice, unfortunately -- the whole groupie thing." Pffft.

He was 32 at the time. Wonder how the girl's mental health turned out?

As reported at the time, the girl and her 17-year-old sister went to Yarrow's hotel room seeking an autograph. Yarrow answered the door naked and made sexual advances that stopped short of intercourse. The 14-year-old resisted his advances but did not call for help. Yarrow served three months of a one- to three-year prison sentence and was pardoned by Carter in 1981. Peter Yarrow was married to the niece of Democratic Senator Eugene J. McCarthy at the time of the pardon.

Sorry to post so much but this has me steamed!

I can't think of anything funny so let me just ask, WHERE are the liberals getting this notion of a "right" to health care, "affordable" or not?

GAH. Idiots.

Without sin?

He served his time, apologized profoundly and often, and has spent the rest of his life trying to make this world a better place. Final judgment is God's job, not ours.
What really irks me is that so many of our best and brightest conservatives these days are spening all their time and energy trying to ruin other people. This is not the work of Jesus. Can we please get back to compassion and helping our brothers and sisters in Christ?
