- Christmas used to be far more exciting but far less fullfilling.
- If it's true that you are what you eat - and I'm beginning to suspect that it is - then things should be catching up with me right about now.
- My begonia has a few problems and it's high time that I have an expert take a look at it.
- Mr. Sam has suddenly become the husband that I've always wanted. And when I say "suddenly", I mean that it only took 25 years.
- After a lifetime of revulsion towards them, I find that red painted toenails are a necessity for me. Today's color is called Mauve Pearls, but it's really more of a Cranberry Punch.
- When I had my front windshield replaced, they put a 2" strip of scotch tape across the top seam. It was supposed to be removed after 24 hours, but it's still there. Now it's loosened around the edges and it hums like tissue paper on a comb whenever I go faster than 65mph.
Mom and I came to a conclusion.
Our respective parents didn't think it was Xmas unless you couldn't see the bottom three feet of the tree for the presents. We talked about how we couldn't sleep and how by noon we felt like we'd been beaten with rubber hoses since 4:30 am.
Now we do less and all three of us get more out of the deal.
RE: 25 years -
If I come over right now, go to the garage and say to Mr. Sami - "NOW THAT'S A KEEPER!" how far back does that set you?

Does that mean that Mr. Sami is an "overnight" sensation?
I'm with ya on the red toe nails. I even painted Shasta's front toe nails red for Christmas. She wanted to be festive for the Grandparents.
